CHORE CHART

I found the below cleaning calendar here, and started the process last week. It is working wonders for my house, and freed up most of my weekend. It's kind of funny, but I love my chore chart.

I pinned this to my Pinterest on Friday and by Saturday morning it had been repinned 600 times. What?
So maybe you are looking for a new cleaning regimen too!

You have to let me know if you try it!

  1. I tweeked it to fit my (small) family a little better, but I'm definitely gonna try it! I think it takes 28 days to form a new habit, so we shall see...........Thanks for the inspiration! Love the Swing Day, too!

  4. Thanks for the great idea! Me and my teenage son (small family) are still in the "learning a new habit"-stage, so we haven't TOTALLY abided by the schedule yet. I didn't put any "Nightly Duties" besides the Chore of the Day. I added chores like dusting everything (don't know HOW we get so dusty around here), sanitize/wipe down all doorknobs, light switches, and bannisters, sweep one day and mop the next, clean stove burners, clean out fridge, straighten closets, file loose papers, wash dishes and take out trash as needed (it's just the 2 of us) and I actually put Sunday on there with "No Chores" except to change your bedsheets and bath towels for the week. Thanks for the schedule idea! :-)
