Yesterday, on my lunch break, I may have taken a blanket to the park & slept under a tree.

I turned the above skirt (that I thrifted) from an A-line to a pencil earlier this week.  It proved to be a good decision!  Add this one to my list of favorites. 


One of my favorite ways to spend my lunch break is at a park. Yesterday the destination was Liberty Park. It was a little overcast & the weather was pretty perfect for sitting on a park bench & sipping a beverage.

I love weeping willows, & this one in my friend Megan's backyard pretty much takes the cake. 

I couldn't even capture the whole thing on my iphone.

a good weekend.

This weekend was a little bit different than my norm, but it was still a great weekend. 

A movie with Catherine & Sarah, plus my essentials 

(diet coke & a large popcorn, with layered butter please.) 

A play! 9 to 5 at Hale Center Theater. Oh & that is four diet cokes for two people. 

Like I said, it was a great weekend. 

A BBQ at my parents house with my whole family (with the exception of Elder Taylor of course)

PS. Jalapeno poppers are my very favorite summer snack. If you want to know how to make them I'll share!

A relaxing time just hanging out with my sibs. I have a very loud and funny family. At one point we were all rapping to this song in unison. Oh yes.

A bubble

I love bubblegum. No, really I LOVE bubblegum. I will buy a one pound bag of dubble bubble and finish the whole thing off within a few days. By myself. My teeth are doing really great.

A surprise date

August 4th, 2012 The Garage on Beck

On Saturday night we were driving downtown for some chicken & waffles (from Bayleaf - they have the BEST chicken and waffles in SLC)... Then Tyler went straight past the exit and drove me to the Garage for a concert & a most delicious burger. I love surprise dates.
