SIX MONTHS

Mother's Day my family got to skype with Taylor (who's serving an LDS mission) in Germany. My two brothers are doing summer sales in California so they were both skyping as well. 5-way Skype!

It was the best 40 minutes.  Honestly it felt like a normal Jardine afternoon: loudness, weird faces, weirder jokes, and a ton of laughing. Taylor looks so good and I  just know he's in the right place.

At the end of the call Brian suggested we have a family prayer. One of the top 10 best Jardine family moments. I still get pretty emotional talking about it, but I was so grateful that we could all be "together" for a little bit.

Taylor hit his six-month mark today! I'm so proud of him and his dedication to his work as a missionary.

I love you Elder Jardine!

  2. oh gosh, i've always wanted to try this five way skype thing. too fabulous! your family just sounds too precious for words. your brother is really transforming himself into the man that God wants him to become. And Germany is where he is supposed to be right now, helping those who are willing to come to the gospel, just like i did two years ago!
    love this!

  3. this is SO cute! skype is the best. I got to skype with my brother in Bangkok on mothers day and we skyped in my sister in north carolina too! I totally appreciate how amazing this skype was.

i'm sure your brother is growing into such a good young man, it's fun to see how much their character is shaped for the great when they serve God!
